Multiple BMPsBy partnering with Lee Peanut, their yearly nitrogen use has reduced by 250,000 pounds and has saved 200 million gallons of water using precision nutrient application techniques and soil moisture sensors.

Lake City Wetlands
About 1.54 million gallons of wastewater flows through the wetlands each day to recharge water into the Upper Floridan aquifer. The 120 acres of wetlands reduces nitrates by an estimated 98 percent or 31,000 pounds annually.
